UPDATE - Kindergarten 2024-2025 Meet & Greet

We are so excited to welcome our incoming Kindergarten students and families!

Welcome to the Gator Swamp!

We believe Argyle School is an incredible place to learn, grow, and pursue success!

Registrations for Kindergarten are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year!

Due to the current STF Sanctions, we have made a change to our Kindergarten Orientation. Students that are registered to attend Kindergarten in Fall 2024 are invited to attend a "Meet and Greet" on FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 PM. You will meet some of the Argyle School team, see the classroom, the Kindergarten playground and even meet some new friends.

Thank you School Community Council!

Over the last year, the SCC has continued to support and fund many opportunities for students at Argyle School. We are grateful for their support of items for classrooms, RAZKIDS subscriptions, items for special events, incentives, awards, Kindergarten recruitment and so much more! Thank you to the school community for supporting fundraisers like Gator Dog Days, Growing Smiles Plants, and Kernels popcorn.

Staff and Students really enjoyed the school-wide Gator Dog Day on Wednesday, June 5!

Thanks again for all you do! We are better together!

Grade 8 Farewell - June 20

We will celebrate our Grade 8 students on Thursday, June 20 @ 4:00 in the Argyle Gym. We are thankful for their time and leadership at Argyle School and wish them nothing but the best as they transition to high school.

Grade 8 families will receive more information from Mrs. Baldwin and Mr. Lamb.

Classroom Planning - Fall 2024

As we begin to plan for the 2024-2025 school year, we are having discussions about classroom placement. One question that comes to the office in the spring and at the beginning of each school year is how we determine which class students will be in. The first thing parents and guardians need to know is this is a carefully considered process. There are a number of factors that go into this decision including the number of students in each grade, trying to get a balance of gender and abilities, and maintaining some social supports for each student. Overall, the most important consideration is what is in the best interest of all of our 482 students.

June is Pride Month!

In Regina Public Schools, we demonstrate our Shared Values that include belonging and respect. As a school division, we are committed to ensuring schools, and workplaces are inclusive and welcoming environments where Gender and Sexually Diverse (GSD) staff, students, families, and allies feel included, protected, and respected. Please join our school community as we celebrate PRIDE MONTH and demonstrate that ALL, however they identify and want to be, are welcome in Regina Public Schools.
