Planned Boundary Changes

March 2, 2023 – Here is some information in an effort to keep you informed about boundary changes at Argyle School and Ethel Milliken School to help manage the growing enrolments at Harbour Landing School.

School division administrators hosted a meeting with the Argyle School Community Council this week to present enrolment information, efforts to manage the enrolment pressures at Harbour Landing School, and boundary change plans that affect Ethel Milliken and Argyle Schools. A permanent boundary change effective for the 2023-24 school year will change the Argyle School boundary to include a portion of the existing Ethel Milliken School boundary. This will not affect any boundaries for the students who currently attend Argyle. Please review the documents below for more details.

Regina Public Schools would like your feedback. The Division will be hosting open houses at Harbour Landing School and Ethel Milliken School regarding the plan and the boundary changes will be presented to the Board on March 21, 2023. The final decision will then be communicated to parents/guardians and specific discussions will be held with parents/guardians included in the boundary change.

The school division recognizes the challenges that boundary changes bring to families, students, and school communities. We extend our gratitude to the Argyle School administration, School Community Council and the entire school community for their understanding, flexibility and patience during a time of growth and change in the southwest area of the City.
