JANUARY 25, 2022 — Regina Public Schools places a priority on mental health and well-being for all students, staff and families. On Bell Let’s Talk Day (Wednesday, January 26, 2022), join in the conversation and take action to support mental health and create positive change!
According to the Mental Health Commission, on any given week, more than 500,000 Canadians are unable to go to work due to mental health problems. In light of these sobering statistics, Bell Canada created Let's Talk Day to help erase the stigma surrounding mental health and to make it easier for people to get help.
Although mental illness is a topic that touches virtually every life, many people are reluctant to talk about it. Let's Talk Day promotes awareness and action with a strategy build on four pillars: (1) fighting the sigma, (2) improving access to care, (3) supporting world-class research and (4) leading by example in workplace mental health.
On Bell Let's Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing five cents for every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, social media video view and use of their Facebook frame or Snapchat lens.
