Celebration of the Season
December 11 at Argyle School
This year Argyle School does not have the use of Sheldon's auditorium for our winter concert. Therefore, due to limited space, we will forego the traditional concert format and instead feature scheduled performances in the Argyle gym for students in grades K - 5, the senior band and the senior choir. The senior classes will be involved with the art work, decorating and planning.
In order to accommodate everyone, we will have an afternoon performance at 1:30 and an evening performance at 6:30. Even at that, we anticipate seating to be ‘come-and-go’. When your child is finished performing, feel free to leave the gym area so that another parent can have a spot to see their child. We will post a schedule of when each class will be performing so that parents won't miss their child's performance. We anticipate a good turnout, so please leave strollers outside the school.
In the evening, the SCC will continue their tradition of hosting a Candy Cane Social with hot chocolate, hot apple cider and of course, candy canes. In addition, you can check out our bake sale and craft sale. You are invited to wander around the school before and after your child’s performance. We expect the performances should be finished by 7:30. Thank you for your patience with this year’s new format.
We are asking that all performers be in their classrooms by 6: 15 pm.
In the spirit of giving, we will have two Food Bank bins to collect
food for Regina’s Food Bank.
